HIV Research Study

Researchers at Boys Town National Research Hospital are looking for people living with HIV to participate in noninvasive brain imaging studies.

• Who is eligible?

  • At least 19 years old

  • Diagnosed with HIV

  • Able to complete a series of mental test

  • Use recreational substances (cannabis or meth or both)

  • Do not use recreational substances

• What does the study involve?

  • 3-5 research visits all 3 hours in length

  • Mental testing

  • MEG scans

  • MRI scan

  • Substance use history interview

  • Possible blood draw

• Compensation is $100 per research visit. Participants can earn up to $770 for completing optional activities.
