My dream of pursuing a doctoral degree in clinical psychology motivates my involvement in neuroscience research. I hope to someday use my scientist-practitioner identity to offer neuroscience-informed diagnostics, treatment planning, and psychotherapeutic relationships for clients. Presently, one area of research interest is the impact of trauma on neural activity, brain development, and cognitive functioning. Additionally, I am interested in the neurobiological underpinnings of various mental health diagnoses. I look forward to using neuropsychological evaluations and neuroimaging techniques to help contribute to current research at the lab and grow my understanding of human neuroscience.
