I am interested in understanding effects of childhood adversity on structural and functional brain development. In particular, I am interested in how maltreatment and trauma influence neurodevelopment in adolescence and emerging adulthood, and how particular resilience factors may impede poor outcomes. I primarily use MRI methodologies as well as genetics to address my research questions.
