I’ve been a clinical MRI Technologist for over ten years and have recently joined the research world. I’m fascinated by MRI and what it can do and it’s exciting to be a part of such an up and coming Research Lab under Dr. Tony Wilson. I have always been interested in the brain and the complexity of it. Our 3T Siemens Prisma MRI machine is the top of the line for research. It is such an amazing opportunity to work on this piece of equipment. The advancement in MRI imaging is continually growing in what we can do. My goal is to provide the investigators with the best images possible. Doing that only comes from easing each participant’s fears of MRI and making them comfortable to do their best. My hope is that my small part can provide breakthroughs in disease and conditions that ail us and better understand the human body as a whole.
