tDCS Research Study

The purpose of this study is to investigate how a therapeutic technique called transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS) affect brain activity in healthy adults. The technique involves stimulating the scalp with low amplitude, direct current using small electrodes.  

  • Who is eligible?

    • Participants aged 19-35

    • Right handed

    • Able to complete a series of mental tasks

    • Not been diagnosed with any neurological or psychological disorders

  • What does the study involve?

    • 3 research visits all 3 hours in length

    • Each visit around the same time of day

    • Complete a tDCS session at each visit with a mental task

    • Complete an MEG scan at each visit

  • Compensation is $100 for each research visit with a potential bonus of $100 upon completion
